The land includes mature woodland where there is an abundance of wildlife including visiting Canadian geese, foxes, rabbits and squirrels. The Skipwith Common nature reserve is accessible over a stile immediately outside the property. Being fully open with free access to the public, it is a great place for a few hours' walk in the wilderness.

Blackwood Hall Bed & Breakfast & Caravan Site

Blackwood Hall is a traditional Victorian residence built in 1858 and situated in its own 14-acre parklands, away from busy roads, and with ample free parking.

There is easy access to York, approximately 20 minutes drive to the North and Selby a few minutes to the South. Good local dining pubs can be found in the nearby villages of Skipwith, near York and Thorganby. An award-winning Thai restaurant is also only minutes away in Escrick. The York McArthur Glen designer outlet is approximately 7 miles to the North.
